A man has gone viral after issuing a stern warning to a Chicken Republic outlet in Ilorin over a banking error that cost him millions.
According to him, he mistakenly transferred ₦2.3 million instead of ₦2,300 during a routine transaction at the fast-food restaurant.
In a video circulating online, the visibly upset man stated that if his money was not refunded by Friday, the outlet “would not open for business.”
Although he didn’t make any physical threats, his words were firm and suggested serious action.
The incident has sparked conversation across social media, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy for the man’s ordeal. Some questioned how such a costly mistake could occur.
As of the time of this report, neither Chicken Republic nor their management board have issued an official statement regarding the matter.
