The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has suspended the Board of Trustees, BoT, chairman of the party, Chief Adolphus Wabara.
Wabara was suspended by the State Working Committee, SWC, of
the party in Abia State.
The decision, according to a party source, was taken during
a meeting presided over by the State Chairman, Abraham Amah.
When contacted, Amah confirmed Wabara’s suspension, stating that he would make the details available.
“Yes it is true, he has been suspended”, Amah disclosed.
This is believed to be a continuation of the power play
between loyalists of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and the PDP former
presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Wike’s man and former governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has firm
control of the Abia PDP.
