Premier League clubs, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ipswich Town have opened preliminary talks to sign Kelechi Iheanacho.
Spanish outfit, Sevilla have given the green light to the Nigeria international to leave on loan this month.
There is interest from other Premier League clubs as well as in Europe but Wolves and Ipswich Town are ahead of the queue.
Iheanacho only left Leicester City to link up with Sevilla on a free transfer last summer but is now set for a return to England.
The 28-year-old has scored three goals in 11 appearances across all competitions for Sevilla.
Wolves and Ipswich Town sit in 17th and 18th position respectively on the Premier League table.
