President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as the Chairperson of the board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The appointment was disclosed in a statement released on Friday by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
Ganduje, who currently serves as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will now oversee FAAN’s board, a critical agency responsible for managing and developing airports across the country.
The former governor of Kano State has had a longstanding career in public service and governance, with his tenure in Kano marked by infrastructural projects and political influence within the party.
