The founder of the Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Mike Bamiloye, has backed Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God over his apology on the payment of tithe.
Bamiloye said it wasn’t easy for Adeboye to publicly apologise over his past preaching on tithing.
Pastor Adeboye had admitted to making a mistake in his past message on tithing.
He said it was a mistake to have claimed that those who don’t pay tithe won’t make heaven because it’s not in the Bible.
He emphasised that the Bible says peaceful and holy living are the prerequisites for making heaven.
Reacting, a statement by Bamiloye reads partly: “Daddy E.A. Adeboye made a statement and the Lord corrected him before he came out in the open to correct himself at the Lord’s instruction.
“You think it is easy for a man of such global status to come out in the open to apologise if God had not corrected him in the secret?
“It is only a person who has heaven in focus and eternity in heaven in view that would count it important to do that.
“If you like, make jest of him. If you like, drag him on the ground for doing what the Lord had instructed him to do. Baba has heaven in his focus, and that is why he doesn’t care about earthly honour or human ego.
“It takes humility for a man of global status as this to come out and apologise. Only God could have spoken to such a man.
“Because God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).”

Pastors from Yoruba area particularly Lagos have done enough harm to your churches by deceiving them & continues by developing new strategies. Enoch Adeboye of Redeemed knew earlier that he was fallacious with the bible. He was so educated to know, he knew but bcos he was nice t challenged, they continue to milk members of their congregation. Now if Enoch has apologized, let other members of their league of end-tome-church apologize also. But that is not the main issue. They must return all the tithes collected in error, otherwise Enoch's apology is not genuine. I have never believed in them, certainly not now.
ReplyDeleteHave you removed the tree trunk in your eyes before hollering Adeboye to remove the speck in his eyes?
DeleteOtherwise, you are in danger of a worse judgement, you bigoted tribalist! Hypocrite!
