Bisola Badmus, the actress popular in the Yoruba film industry, has criticised Kwam 1, the Fuji singer, for “not caring for our son“.
In a recent episode of Talk To B, Badmus opened up about her
relationship with Kwam 1, alleging that she has a child for him.
The film star claimed the singer stopped performing his
responsibilities as a father even though he accepted the child.
“From the beginning, he accepted the boy as his son but it
changed all of a sudden,” she said.
“What I want from K1 is to be responsible for Malik, his
son. I just want him to take care of his son.”
Badmus also alleged that the Fuji star’s support in her
battle with brain disease was short-lived.
“He didn’t know about my condition earlier because I didn’t
tell him. When he knew, he tried his best for a while but stopped at some
point,” she added.
In 2023, the film star opened up about her battle with a
brain disease known as encephalopathy. She said the condition made her stay
away from social media.
When TheCable Lifestyle contacted Kunle Rasheed, Kwam 1’s
spokesperson, to get his principal’s comment on the allegation, he said he was
unaware of the claim and hadn’t discussed it with the Fuji singer.
Rasheed promised to reach out as soon as Ayinde confirmed or
denied the allegation.
“I am not aware of that ‘fact’. This is not to say, it is
right or wrong, I am not aware,” he said.
“My principal has
NEVER discussed such with me before and I can’t know what is inside of him if
he has not said it. I will definitely get back to you if I confirm or
otherwise. Thank you”.
Born Wasiu Ayinde, Kwam 1 has always been called out for
controversial reasons.
In 2020, he was accused of having an extramarital affair
with Olori Ajoke, Alaafin of Oyo’s youngest wife — an allegation he denied.
In 2024, the singer also dismissed rumours that he had a
marital crisis with Emmanuella Ropo, his wife.
Kwam 1 and Ropo got married in September 2021.
