The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Edozie Njoku, has told Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State that he cannot impose himself on the party.
This comes amid the leadership crisis in the party.
Njoku, while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, said Soludo is not greater than the party and should stoop to conquer.
“I have stooped a lot, I have gone to him (Gov Soludo), I have had meetings with him. The important thing is doing the right thing at all times and not thinking you can impose yourself on the party.
“We are the party and the party is supreme,” he said.
The APGA National Chairman also debunked rumours that he planned to scuttle the second term ambition of the governor in 2025.
He said the feud between him and Soludo might affect the party’s fortunes in next year’s governorship election In Anambra State, explaining that he doesn’t have any grudge against the governor.
“I am too big for what you are saying. Why should I have anything against Soludo? The only thing Soludo doesn’t like is that I am a man who has my mind,” Njoku added.
