We don't want Oshimhen - PSG manager

Paris Saint Germain are no longer interested in the transfer of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as well as other transfer targets this Summer, according to manager Luis Enrique.

This came after Enrique claimed that he is satisfied with his squad.

The French club have already made a cumulative transfer investment of 175 million euros ($195m), not including bonuses, on four players this summer but are yet to find a replacement for record all-time top goalscorer Kylian Mbappe who left for Real Madrid at the expiration of contract.

PSG were further dealt a huge blow when Portugal forward Goncalo Ramos came off hurt early in last week’s 4-1 win at Le Havre in Ligue 1.

“Unfortunately Goncalo picked up an injury. It is a blow, but we still have a very good team and I have full confidence in the players in my squad,” Luis Enrique told reporters on the eve of PSG’s first home game of the campaign, against Montpellier on Friday.

“The president (Nasser al-Khelaifi), (sporting director) Luis Campos and I are always open to improving the squad but it is very, very difficult to strengthen the team that we have.”

Despite interest from Chelsea, Osimhen was seen as a perfect replacement for Mbappe and PSG earlier considered a transfer approach for the Nigerian super striker this summer.
