President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Friday, for Lagos ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The Eid-el-Kabir festival is celebrated by Muslims worldwide
on the 10th day of the Hijri month of Dhual-Hijjah in the Islamic calendar.
In a statement on Friday, Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential
spokesperson, said Tinubu will observe Eid-el-Kabir in Lagos, where he will
also spend the Sallah holidays.
Ngelale added that the president will mark the occasion in
prayers and reflection on advancing the transformation of Nigeria in line with
his “renewed hope agenda.”
