The chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Chief Tony Okocha, has debunked news making the round on social media, alluding that he made a U-turn and congratulated Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his one year in office.
Okocha, who briefed journalists in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, said it is impossible for him to congratulate a government he described to be in “ICU.”
The APC chairman stated that the report was targeted at maligning his character and projecting him as “one who speaks from both sides of his mouth. ”
Scoring the Fubara administration in the past one year, the APC chairman said the governor has scored zero, describing his administration as a sham, running without a budget.

Tony OKOCHA doing the bidding of his paymaster Wike. Fubara's one year is highly commendable. It's only politics of bitterness and acrimony that has blindfolded Wike, Tony OKOCHA and their bandwagons. Alas Rivers State has been freed from Wike's chain.
