The Labour party presidential candidate in the 2023 Nigerian elections have taken a swipe at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for their in-ability to prosecute top government officials fingered in corruption.
Speaking at Arise TV (monitored by NigerianEye) on Wednesday night, Peter Obi said "This government alongside the EFCC have to be more committed with their fight against corruption. Their focus should shift from minor issues with Bobrisky and Cubana Chief Priest and focus on the top government officials who are accused of corruption running into Billions of Naira".
NigerianEye recalls that the national anti-corruption body arrested popular socialites, Bobrisky and Cubana Chief Priest for abusing and spraying Naira notes at a public event.
