Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has urged President Bola Tinubu to caution government officials against using public funds to hire private jets to greet him during the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
Sani made the call while wishing President Tinubu a happy Eid-el-Fitr
celebration.

al Fitr in advance; And please Your Excellency, tell Elected and Appointed
Public Officials not to spend public funds hiring private jets just to come and
“greet you” for Sallah.”
Recall that the Presidency had disclosed that Tinubu will
celebrate his Eid-el-Fitr celebration in Lagos.

“The President will continue official duties during and
after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays,” the statement reads.
