The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has
unveiled a mugshot photo of controversial crossdresser, Okunleye Idris, widely
known as Bobrisky, following his recent arrest.
Taking to their official Instagram platform, the EFCC shared
a photo of Bobrisky holding up the agency’s placard, which details the nature
of his alleged crime.
The agency clarified that Bobrisky was apprehended on
grounds of alleged Naira mutilation.
In the released image, Bobrisky can be seen holding the EFCC
placard, his demeanor seemingly subdued as he faces the camera.
The post includes his full details and the date of his
arrest, providing clarity amidst swirling rumors surrounding the circumstances
of his detention.
Bobrisky’s arrest by the EFCC, has sparked widespread
speculation and conjecture about the reasons behind the apprehension.

The statement attached to the mugshot reads: “Operatives of
the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,
have commenced investigation of Idris Okuneye, a.k.a Bobrisky, for allegedly
spraying Naira notes.
“The EFCC had invited
the 31-year old following a video report of spraying and flaunting wads of new
Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju, produced by Eniola Ajao, a
Nollywood actress and producer, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March
24, 2024.
“Investigation also revealed that he had also committed the
alleged offence at some other event centres and parties at different times.
“Following the invitation by the Commission, he arrived at
the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC in the morning of Wednesday, April 4, 2024
for interrogation and volunteered his statements.
“He will soon be charged to court upon conclusion of
investigations.”

I have never seen an unserious agency of government like the efcc. Very inefficient and also in the habit of chasing shadows. How many of the politicians have you arrested?
