President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hailed the elder statesman and founding member of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, on his 98th birthday.
Tinubu’s message was contained in a statement on Tuesday by Ajuri Ngelale, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
He joined Yakasai’s family, friends, and associates in celebrating the distinguished figure who has devoted his life to fighting for the unheard masses, justice, the rule of law, and the enthronement of good governance and transparency in public service.
The President described the elder statesman as a patriot and one of the noblest men in Nigeria’s history.
Tinubu prayed that this anniversary of Alhaji Yakasai’s birth would bring fulfilment to the important causes the statesman has boldly fought for.
