‘You’re ungrateful’ — Davido finally responds to Dammy Krane’s debt allegations

Davido has finally responded to Dammy Krane, the Nigerian singer, after several allegations of unpaid debts.

On Monday, Dammy Krane said the singer refused to pay him for his songwriting contribution to a track.

He pleaded with Davido to honour their contract for the sake of his daughter.

“I know it is hard for rich people to pay debts but @davido if not for my sake Blooda, pay me my money at least because of my daughter’s sake – your niece if at all,” he had said.

“School fees no easy for Naija now o, na everybody de try secure their future. Na money we want no be wahala o.”

In a series of posts via X on Friday, Dammy Krane also made a mockery of Davido’s name.

The singer accused Davido of “ruining” his record label deal with Sony Music.

“Owe B Owe Owe Owe One DAVID-Owe please pay me my money. I no dey beg you it is my work! You no gats japa,” he wrote in pidgin English.

Reacting to Dammy Krane’s allegations via X, Davido described the singer as “ungrateful.”

Davido said he “never got paid” for his music collaborations with Dammy Krane.

He also claimed that he “housed and fed” the singer when he was “homeless”.

“The level of ungratefulness is alarming… lesson learnt,” he said.

“I never got paid for that. Also my 3 verses I have gifted you all your dead career. Oh yea plus my royalties, we charge now so that is about $150,000 x3 a verse.”

“Also house rent and food when you stayed in my house in Atlanta when you were homeless.”

In recent weeks, Abu Salami, a businessman; Amaju Pinnick, former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF); Alabi Adetutu, a model, among others, have all stepped forward with similar allegations against Davido.
