Some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have
arrived at the Supreme Court ahead of the hearing of the appeals filed by the
Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and
Labour Party’s Peter Obi against President Bola Tinubu.
Diginaritaries in court are Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi
Gbajabiamila; APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje; National Security
Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, among others.
Atiku is challenging the judgment of the Presidential
Election Petition Court (PEPC) which affirmed Tinubu’s victory in the February
25th presidential election.
The apex court will also hear the petitions filed by Obi as
well as that of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) all challenging the judgment
of the PEPC.
The panel of Justices hearing the appeals is headed by
Justice Inyang Okorowo.
