Arsenal boss, Mikel Artea, has confirmed that midfielder Thomas Partey will miss his side’s Premier League derby against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Arteta also disclosed that he is yet to decide which goalkeeper between David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale will start for Arsenal against Tottenham.
Arteta’s side head to the game after beating PSV 4-0 in the Champions League.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Arteta said: “With Gaby [Martinelli] we are still assessing him and so let’s see whether he can make the game or not.
“Thomas for sure is out. And the rest hopefully available, we still have two training sessions but there were no big issues in mid-week.”
When asked who will star between Raya and Ramsdale, Arteta added, “No I have not decided.”
The match between Arsenal and Tottenham will take place at Emirates Stadium and the kick-off is 2 pm.
