Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, has given a big hint he could add Romelu Lukaku to his squad this summer.
Lukaku has been frozen out by new Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, and is looking to leave Stamford Bridge before next Thursday.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Mourinho claimed the club is trying to sign one more striker following the arrival of Serdar Azmoun.
He said: “Lukaku deal? The club told me that we will sign one more striker after Serdar Azmoun and that makes me happy.
“It’s difficult for me to comment now on Azmoun as he hasn’t signed yet, imagine Lukaku who’s Chelsea player….”
Lukaku spent last season on loan at Roma’s rivals, Inter Milan, and rejected the chance to return to the San Siro on a permanent basis.
