Manchester United are considering Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, as it is looking increasingly unlikely that Tottenham Hotspur will sell Harry Kane.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs don’t want to sell Kane, especially not to a Premier League rival.
The England captain scored 30 times in the last Premier League season.
With just one year left on his contract, Kane is of interest to United, whose priority is to strengthen their forward options.
However, as an alternative, Osimhen is a player the Red Devils are keen on as well, although the Serie A top scorer would also require a big transfer fee.
It is thought United may look to bring in two strikers, one experienced and one for the future – and they have made initial contacts over the availability of Atalanta’s 20-year-old Rasmus Hojlund.
