Barely six days to the end of his administration, President
Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday unveiled the N19.6 billion newly built headquarters
of Nigeria Customs Service in Abuja.
Buhari went around the 12-floor tower during the unveiling,
inspection and assessment of the facility.
Similarly, the President on Tuesday unveiled the Second
Niger Bridge and six other legacy projects.
He justified the country’s massive debt profile due to his
administration’s focus on infrastructure development.
Deputy Comptroller General of Customs Adewale Adeniyi said
the facility, initiated in 2007, would boost the regulatory services of Nigeria
Customs.
