Newcastle has received a major boost ahead of their all-important Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday.
One of the Magpies’ best players, Allan Saint-Maximin has returned to training ahead of the match.
The winger has missed the last five games after suffering a hamstring injury, but manager Eddie Howe confirmed on Friday that he is back.
“Allan has trained. He trained yesterday – great to see him back on the grass – trained very well too, so really pleased with that,” Howe told his press conference ahead of the game.
However, he said that central midfielder, Sean Longstaff remains a doubt for the game against Mikel Arteta’s Gunners after missing the 3-1 win over Southampton with a foot injury.
