Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has said the President-elect, Bola Tinubu will inherit an expanded war on terrorism.
Sani disclosed that Tinubu would inherit war with Boko Haram, Ansaru, ISIS, and banditry.
He disclosed this while recounting that President Muhammadu Buhari inherited Boko Haram.
In a tweet, Sani urged the Tinbu administration to make security its top agenda.
He wrote: “The President of Nigeria inherited a war with Boko Haram Insurgents which he fought in the North East, and he is leaving behind for his successor an expanded war with Boko Haram, ISIS, Ansaru, gunmen and bandits. Security must be the top agenda of the next administration.”
Under Buhari’s administration, Boko Haram, bandits and ISIS, terrorized Nigerians from the North to the Southern part of the country.
While Boko Haram, bandits, and ISIS terrorised the North, unknown gunmen took over the Southeast.
