Anambra: Soludo shuts school, sacks teacher over examination malpractice


Anambra governor, Chukwuma Soludo has closed down Tower Primary School, Oba, following indictment of the proprietor, Kosisochukwu Igwe, and a PTA teacher, Precious Chibuzo, in examination malpractices during the 2023 Transition Placement Examination of Anambra state.


The proprietor in collusion with the PTA teacher took a photograph of the question paper during the examination, solved questions and supplied answers to the candidates.


The Commissioner for Education Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh announced the closure of the school on behalf of Governor Soludo after the meeting held at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Education to investigate the allegation of examination malpractice against the proprietor and the teacher.


“Report from the pupils of Triumphant Cross School Oba, resulted in the investigation which revealed that the Proprietress of the Tower Academy Oba, Kosisochukwu Igwe sneaked into the examination hall, connived with the PTA teacher, took a photograph of the question paper, solved questions and supplied answers to the candidates.


“The Tower Academy Proprietress, Kosisochukwu Igwe, who admitted committing the offence, pleaded for forgiveness.


“The PTA teacher, Chibuzo Precious, who had earlier admitted committing the offence has been dismissed from the school.


The Commissioner for Education has directed a re-sit of the examination for all the candidates involved in the Center.


The re-sit examination to be personally supervised by the Commissioner has been fixed for Tuesday 4th April 2023.


But the Tower Primary School Oba remained closed till further notice, while the PTA teacher, Precious Chibuzo has been sacked.

  3. Someone rigged election and destroyed the hope of millions of youths, Soludo quickly congratulated him. Same Soludo is now closing school because of exam malpractices. Most of you professors need your brain examined

  4. Prof. Soludo is only grandstanding and nobody would applaud him: what will it take him to ask FGN to fire his fellow Professor at INEC whose gross malpractices are endangering Nigeria?

Please,help me and ask soludo if he's ayes has opened to see, to infer, to sack and shut down school while his fellow professor, the person of INEC chairman rigg, manipulate, and select his choice in elections we all came out in mass to vote for the candidate choice..why not you gov soludo sack him?? Knowing what it caused us...pain and regret etc
