Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, is willing to let at least
seven players leave the club this summer, the UK Sun reports.
The Gunners’ record signing Nicolas Pepe is set to head the
queue.
Pepe arrived at the Emirates from Lille in 2019 in a deal
worth £72m. The Ivorian winger has scored just 16 goals in 80 league
appearances for the club.
He is spending the current season on loan at Nice.
Pepe is one of seven players currently out on loan who could
be in line for permanent exits.
The others are Albert Sambi Lokonga, Ainsley Maitland-Niles
and Cedric Soares, who are all playing for Premier League clubs.
Abroad, Nuno Tavares is with Marseille, while Alex Runarsson
is at Alanyaspor and Pablo Mari is in Italy with Monza.
All of the players may find themselves looking for new clubs
once those deals come to an end.
