Meek Mill, the American rapper, has taken to social media to
lament after his phone was allegedly stolen in Ghana.
The rapper is currently in Ghana for the Afronation concert
where he is scheduled to perform alongside other music heavyweights.
In a post via his Instagram stories on Friday, the rapper
said he was robbed by yet-to-be-identified individuals.
He also pleaded with the people who “stole” his phone to
return it to him.
“They pickpocketed me
for my phoneeee, SMH. Bring that jawn back if you got it,” he wrote.
The development comes a few hours after he posted that he
was on his way to the venue of the Afronation concert.
The musician had earlier reflected on his experience in the
country and appreciated his fans for the warm reception.
The 35-year-old also revealed he is planning to get a house
in the country due to the love shown to him.
“I’m grabbing a crib in Ghana for sure. This real love,” he
wrote.
Mill has established himself as a popular name in the global
music industry with several hit projects.
The rapper was in the news recently after he joined the list
of celebrities who have deleted their Twitter accounts since Elon Musk took
over its ownership in October.
