Atiku Abubakar’s camp of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has insisted that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, campaigned against President Muhammadu Buhari.
Atiku’s camp alleged that Tinubu’s Renewed Hopelessness manifesto was a campaign against Buhari’s government.
A member of Atiku’s presidential campaign, Dr Daniel Bwala, said this while faulting claims by Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima, that they could end insecurity within six months if elected.
Bwala wondered why they refused to give Buhari the secret that would end insecurity within six months.
In a series of tweets, Bwala wrote: “I just tested the microphone when I said Tinubu’s Renewed Hopelessness manifesto is a campaign against Buhari’s administration.
“They have rushed to grant 13 TV interviews in two days to erase the point, hmm by the time we start opening it layer by layer, what would they do?
“They said they have plans to end insecurity in 6 months, but they don’t want to give the secret to Buhari who has about six months to finish his term; is it not a campaign against the Buhari’s government? A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
