Super Falcons of Nigeria have been drawn against Australia,
Canada and the Republic of Ireland for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
In the draw ceremony which was held in Auckland, New
Zealand, the Super Falcons were placed in Group B for the global women’s
football showpiece.
Randy Waldrum’s ladies were handed a tough draw which will
see them face Canada, the Olympic champions, who they lost to earlier this
year.
Nigeria will also play Australia, one of the host nations, backed by the formidable ruthlessness of Sam Kerr. Ireland is also one of the highest-ranking European sides.
