Arsenal will remain top of the Premier League until October
1 at least.
This follows the Gunners’ 3-0 win over Brentford on Sunday
in the early kick-off.
Mikel Arteta’s men came into the game sitting in third after
Manchester City and Tottenham both won their fixtures on Saturday.
But William Saliba and Gabriel Jesus struck in the first
half to put Arsenal in the driving seat.
Fabio Vieira, who was making his full debut, slammed in a long-range
effort after the break, to seal the points.
Arsenal will face Tottenham Hotspur after the international
break.
