Manager Mikel Arteta has put seven Arsenal players up for
sale this summer.
The Sun reports that the players were put on sale to raise
funds to bring in fresh legs.
Mikel Arteta is currently rebuilding after narrowly missing
out on a return to Champions League football last season.
The Club spent almost £160m on new recruits including the
likes of Ben White and Aaron Ramsdale.
The new-look team got them close to finishing in the top
four, but they lost out to their north London rivals Tottenham.
Arsenal has already brought in the likes of Gabriel Jesus,
Fabio Vieira, Brazilian winger Marquinhos and goalkeeper Matt Turner for a
total of £83m.
They are still in pole position to sign Leicester City’s Youri
Tielemans for £30m.
And The Sun now reports that in order to fund more signings,
the Gunners are aiming to offload as many as seven players
They include club-record signing Nicolas Pepe, Bernd Leno,
Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira, Pablo Mari and Reiss
Nelson.
However, the report said the club is yet to receive any
serious offers for the transfer-listed players.
