Rotimi Amaechi, transportation minister, has obtained the
presidential expression of interest and nomination forms of the All
Progressives Congress (APC).
Amaechi obtained the forms worth N100 million in Abuja on
Thursday.
The minister is one of those on the long list of
presidential hopefuls on the platform of the ruling party.
Also, Ken Nnamani, a former senate president, was at the
International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja to pick up his presidential
expression of interest and nomination forms of the APC.

Aside from the aforementioned hopefuls, Vice-President Yemi
Osinbajo, and Tunde Bakare, the serving overseer of the Citadel Global
Community Church, also obtained their forms on Thursday.
Laolu Akande, spokesman of Osinbajo, said “a passionate team
of support groups and individual Nigerians from across the country” purchased
the APC presidential forms for his principal.
Other presidential hopefuls seeking to contest on the
platform of the APC include Bola Tinubu, a former Lagos governor; Kayode
Fayemi, Ekiti governor; Rochas Okorocha, senator representing Imo west; Yahaya
Bello, Kogi governor; and Ibikunle Amosun, a former governor of Ogun.
Meanwhile, the party has extended the sale of its nomination
forms till May 10.
