The Premier League enters its sharp end in April and May.
As it stands, nothing has been decided. Not the champions. Or top four places. Or the teams that will be relegated.
Some of the fixtures this weekend will, however, go a long way in deciding some of these spots.
Manchester City vs Liverpool: This is the clash every football fan is looking forward to this weekend. These two clubs have set themselves apart from the others in the last five seasons or so, winning all the titles between them. Ahead of the game at the Etihad, City lead with only one point.
Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur: Last weekend, Spurs thrashed Newcastle 5-1 to climb in fourth place. Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace, on Monday night, meant Antonio Conte’s men go into this weekend in control of their destiny. But the game at Villa Park could be a banana peel.
Arsenal vs Brighton: The Gunners lost their fourth position after an abysmal outing at Selhurst Park. However, they still have one outstanding game over Tottenham and could yet reclaim their position. Mikel Arteta’s men must, however, find their form again with a win over Brighton at the Emirates at lunch time.
Everton vs Manchester United: This match is significant to both clubs for different reasons. Everton are one point above the relegation places, while Manchester United are falling adrift in the race for Champions League places. Only a win will do for either team at Goodison Park.
Watford vs Leeds: Yet another relegation six-pointer. Watford are struggling to climb out of the bottom three, while Leeds need points to stay afloat. It will be an interesting clash at Vicarage Road and three points will be massive for any of the teams that can get it
