Nigeria will host Sierra Leone in their first qualifying game for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles were drawn in Group A with Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé/Principe or Mauritius.
The three-time African champions are away at either São Tomé or Port Louis for their Match Day 2 encounter.
The window for these two matches is May 30 – June 14, 2022.
In September, the window for Match Days 3 & 4 will be September 19 to 27, 2022. Nigeria will face Guinea-Bissau in a double-header.
The Eagles go away to Freetown before returning home to square up to either São Tomé and PrÃncipe or Mauritius.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will determine the country that will compete in the group between Sao Tome and Mauritius.
Mauritius has a pending protest against São Tomé and PrÃncipe, who won their preliminary qualifying fixture, insisting that one São Tomé player had tested positive for covid-19. São Tomé & PrÃncipe continue to dispute this assertion.
