Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told the club’s hierarchy that he ‘won’t tolerate’ the permanent appointment of Ralf Rangnick as manager, Daily Star, via Express reports.
Ronaldo is said to be far from impressed with how Rangnick has managed Man United so far and has made his concerns known to the club’s board.
Recall that Rangnick was appointed Man United’s interim manager until the end of the season following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last year.
The report added that the Portugal captain has also scheduled a meeting with his agent Jorge Mendes to make a decision on his future.
Ronaldo is, however, unable to make any moves until the summer, with Man United needing to secure Champions League football if they hope to keep him at Old Trafford beyond this season.
The five-time Ballon d’ Or will also wait to see who Man United will appoint for the role of head coach, before deciding his future.
Ronaldo has struggled to score for Man United in his last five appearances for the club, following their Premier League 1-1 draw against Burnley earlier this week.
While this may not be seen as a goal drought for many forwards, Ronaldo has not gone five games without scoring in 13 years.
