Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has insisted that justice must be done in the murder case of Hanifa Abubakar, a five-year-old pupil, who was murdered by her teacher in the state.
In a statement on Thursday by Abba Anwar, his Chief Press Secretary, Ganduje vowed that he would do everything possible to see that justice is done in the case.
The statement, while applauding security agents for tracking down the culprit, also said the Governor would do his best to see that the process is done within the shortest possible time, adding that: “I am also assuring all that the culprit will get the desired judgement for the heinous act.”
He said the schools would continue to be assessed to ensure they are safe for children.
According to him, the state government would continue to do its best for the security of the state.
