The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the official XI of the group stage of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The official starting lineup has the best eleven performers in each position after the group stage.
Nigeria is represented in the CAF first eleven by William Troost-Ekong and Moses Simon.
Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi made the bench alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Ivory Coast left-back Ghislain Konami, Egypt duo Mohamed El Shenawy and Ahmed Hegazy, Achraf Hakimi of Morocco and Sofiane Boufal, also made the XI.
Naby Keita of Mali, Yves Bissouma, Musa Barrow of Gambia and Vincent Aboubakar of Cameroon completed the best XI.
In a 4-3-3 formation, the best XI are: El Shenawy; Hakimi, Troost-Ekong, Hegazy, Konan; Keita, Bissouma, Barrow; Boufal, Aboubakar, Simon
Substitutes : Andre Onana, Iban Salvador, Ali Maaloul, Abdou Diallo, Ndidi, Massadio Haidara, Karl Toko, Nouhou Tolo, Kanga, Amadou Diawara, Salah, Mane.
