A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Osita
Chidoka, has condemned the arrest of former Imo gubernatorial candidate, Uche
Nwosu in church.
Recall that policemen stormed the St. Peter’s Anglican
Church, Eziam Obire, in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State shooting in
the air as they whisked Okorocha’s son-in-law away.
Reacting, Chidoka said the police storming the church and
arresting Nwosu in it desecrated it which is unacceptable.
On his Facebook page, Chidoka wrote “So Police entered a
church and arrested Uche Nwosu? They desecrated the church to make an arrest?”
He called on Nigerians to kick against the act while
describing the leadership of the Nigerian police as ‘clueless’
“This is unacceptable and the church and all well-meaning
Nigerians should not take this lying down.
“Even the Nazis respected the church during the second world
war. Nigerian police just fell to a new low under a clueless national
leadership. Mad people everywhere,” his post read.
