Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, has said he has not spoken to Manchester United’s new interim manager, Ralf Rangnick.
Tuchel, a fellow compatriot of Rangnick’s, said he would simply congratulate the Red Devils boss on his new appointment, adding that nobody needs advice from him.
The Blues manager disclosed this on Friday during his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with West Ham on Saturday afternoon.
Recall that Rangnick was unveiled on Friday morning by Man United, having been appointed as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s successor a few days ago.
Asked about Rangnick, Tuchel told reporters: “I haven’t spoken to him.
“If I did I would simply congratulate him, but no one needs advice from me, I have enough to do to get us in the right direction.”
Tuchel became a coach through Rangnick during their time at SSV Ulm.
