Manchester United have finally identified midfielder Paul Pogba’s replacement at Old Trafford.
According to the Athletic, Man United have identified Marseille’s Boubacar Kamara as Pogba’s replacement should the France international leave as a free agent next summer as expected.
The Red Devils face losing Pogba to an elite European rival, with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus all linked with his services.
But Man United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick and the club’s board have reportedly already spotted another Frenchman who they believe can come in and fill the Pogba void.
Kamara is also on the verge of running down his deal and could be available for free at the end of the season, should he fail to agree on fresh deals with Marseille.
The 22-year-old recently rejected deadline-day moves to Wolves and Newcastle United, respectively.
