Cup qualifying series.
Six countries are already through to the next round, where
the five flag bearers from the continent will be decided.
They are: Senegal, Morocco, Egypt, Ghana, Mali, and the
Democratic Republic of Congo.
Nigeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Tunisia and Algeria are all
still yet to confirm their places in the March 2022 double-headers.
The likes of Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, and Cape Verde
could yet gate crash the party.
The Super Eagles beat Liberia 2-0 last weekend thanks to two
penalties and remain top of Group C ahead of Cape Verde, who they play at home
on Tuesday.
Against a team ranked 77th in the world, Gernot Rohr’s men
are favourite to get the job done.
