Manchester United players and staff on Saturday broke down in tears in the dressing room, after their 4-1 defeat to Watford, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The squad is now expecting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked after the embarrassing loss at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
Some members of the United entourage were overwhelmed by the loss and were reduced to tears.
Solskjaer was already under immense pressure after a humiliating 5-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Old Trafford earlier this month.
The 48-year-old then watched on helplessly, as the Red Devils were outclassed by Manchester City before the international break.
But he was still in the job for the trip to Watford this weekend.
However, he may not survive after their latest setback, as it is understood the club’s hierarchy have held an emergency meeting to discuss his future on Saturday evening.
