The presidency says a documentary on the Buhari
administration will air on Saturday at 7pm.
Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, said this in a
statement on Friday.
In his statement, Adesina asked Nigerians to “kindly watch”
the documentary entitled, ‘The Buhari Effect: Undeniable Achievements’ which
will review the milestones of the president’s administration.
He said the documentary will air on Channels Television
today at 7pm and on NTA on Sunday at 7pm.
“In view of some milestone of the administration of
President Muhammadu Buhari, a 55-minute documentary titled, “The Buhari Effect:
Undeniable Achievements” will air on
Channels Television on Saturday, October 9 at 7pm as well as on Nigerian
Television Authority (NTA) on Sunday,
October 10 at 7pm,” the statement reads.
In 2017, a documentary entitled, ‘The Human Side of President
Buhari’ aired on television.
The 55-minute video, put together by the media and publicity
department of the state house, had ministers, aides of the president, and other
members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) talking about their views on Buhari’s
management style, reception to counsel and his major strength.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Babatunde Fashola, minister of
power; Adesina, and Nasir el-Rufai, Kaduna state governor, were among those who
featured in the documentary.
Buhari’s media team had said the documentary portrays the
president in a light that majority of Nigerians have not seen him.
In the documentary, Halima, one of Buhari’s daughters, said
her father told her that she must study hard because he has nothing to offer
her but education.
