Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central at the 8th National Assembly, has said no Nigerian is safe from kidnappers.
The former lawmaker made the remark while reacting to the report of the abduction of the Commissioner of Information and Strategy in Niger State on Monday morning.
It was reported that unknown gunmen, in the early hours of Monday, invaded the residence of the commissioner, Mallam Idris Mohammed, and whisked him away.
Reacting to the incident via a Facebook post, the former lawmaker condemned the incident, describing it as tragic.
Shehu Sani wrote, “The abduction of the Niger State commissioner of Information is tragic.This further attest to the fact that no one is safe.My prayers to him and other students of the Tegina Islamic school still in the hands of their abductors.
“The federal and state governments must wake up and address this consuming danger”.

The bandits, kidnappers and extremist will make more money kidnapping commissioners, state reps, Federal reps, governors, senators, ministers etc. Thy should just leave the poor masses alone and face those that can really pay the ransom they want with ease, without too many calls and threats.
