He explained that in an election, there might be few skirmishes along the line in some states however, when put together the congresses were peacefully and well conducted in the nation.

“Not wearing a toga of governor, the last congress was very good. Naturally, when you are in a competition, there might be few skirmishes along the line, but when you speak collectively, I think you can give us a pass mark for what has happened,” the NGF chairman stated.

He commended the Niger state Governor Alh Abubakar Sani Bello 36 states governors for embarking on infrastructural development despite the limited resources available to him.

“He (Governor Bello) is not doing it to the detriment of other needs of the people as he is reconstructing old and constructing new roads, he hasn’t stop paying the entitlements of the civil servants, pensioners, he has not stopped rebuilding schools, he hasn’t stop working on the health sector ”

“So it’s kudos to him for all this hard work but you know the price for hard work is more work people would still continue to ask him to do more,” Governor Fayemi stated.
