Zahra Buhari-Indimi, the daughter of President Muhammadu
Buhari, is set to resume ‘In Conversation With Zahra’, her talk show.
The 26-year-old broke the news via Instagram on Tuesday
after months of not staging the talk show.
Zahra also explained that she would be exploring the topic
‘marriage’ on June 20, with 20 participants for the event to hold at The Dunes
Centre in Abuja.
The price for each ticket was placed at N20,000.
“@inconversationwithzahra
is back! I’m so excited to be exploring the topic of marriage and the different
elements that accompany this great institution called marriage,” she wrote.
“It’s going to be very intimate – 20 seats only! First come;
first serve. Please do register by messaging @inconversationwithzahra for your
ticket. All ticket fees are going towards @zmbhomes. See you on Sunday!”
Zahra, as shown on her website, describes herself as an
“advocate for social change and transformation”.
According to her, “In Conversation with Zahra was birthed
out of the need to initiate conversations about issues that matter but aren’t
often spoken about.
“Through these conversations, this platform hopes to serve
as a safe space for storytelling that will transform lives, act as a voice for
the voiceless and ultimately, make Nigeria a better place.”
The first edition of her show had hosted over 50 people at
the same location in Abuja on November 30, 2019.
In December 2019, Zahra had expressed her support for the
social media regulation bill in an episode of the show.
She had made the headlines in late 2020 after she stated
that the widely condemned discovery of COVID-19 palliatives in warehouses
across the country had absolved her father of claims that he is Nigeria’s
problem.
