The Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved four places up from
36th to 32nd in the world based on FIFA’s latest rankings.
According to the list released on Wednesday by the world
football governing body, the three-time African champion also moved a spot up
from 4th to 3rd in the continent.
The rise in Nigeria’s ranking came on the back of the wins
in March over Benin Republic and Lesotho in the final 2021 Africa Cup of
Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
