The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has registered another 80 cases of COVID-19 in eleven states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This brings the total number of recorded cases so far to 164,080.
NCDC made this known on Thursday night via a tweet on its verified Twitter handle.
The agency also announced the discharge of 15 patients, bringing the number of recoveries since the outbreak of the virus in 2020 to 154,285.
Meanwhile, following the number of recoveries, the total active cases in Nigeria now stand at 7,734.
