Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has claimed the Premier
League crown belongs to Liverpool, despite going 15 points clear at the top.
The league leaders beat Wolves 4-1 on Tuesday night, to
extend their winning run to 21 matches.
Pep Guardiola’s men were gifted an opener in the 15th minute
through Leander Dendoncker’s own goal.
Wolves drew level through Conor Coady’s header, but City managed
to retake the lead through Gabriel Jesus.
Riyad Mahrez made it 3-1, before Jesus scored his second to
secure the three points beyond a shadow of a doubt for Pep Guardiola’s side.
“Manchester United. That’s all we care [about now],”
Guardiola said after the match.
“The champions are Liverpool, the crown belongs to them. We
are in the best position right now to take them out and we are going to try but
they are the champions.
“There are 33 points to play for.”
