Pray for Nigeria, leaders – Emir of Kano


The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado, has urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the country’s leadership and peaceful co-existence for nation’s development.

The Emir made the call on Friday night at the Tijjaniyya Islamic Religious Movement national prayer for peace and unity in Nigeria held at the Abuja National Mosque.

He said all hands must be on deck in order for Nigeria to develop and achieve good results.

“I am extremely delighted to be in this town and in this place, the National Mosque Abuja to put our heads together to pray for the unity, peace, harmony and progress of our nation.

“We are gathered together here today for the purpose of peace, unity and stability of the country,” he added.

The Emir, however, appealed to Nigerians to be patient with their leaders, adding that there was need for unity among all tribes and religion to ensure the success of the country.

He pledged to keep praying for the Nigeria leaders to have the heart to positively impact on the lives of the people, thanked Muslim faithful and clerics for supporting the prayer.

The prayer was led by the World leader of the Tijjaniyya Islamic Religious Movement, Sheikh Muhammadul Mahy Niass and the Grand Khalifa Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, NAN reports.
