The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed
479 fresh cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 21 states and the Federal Capital
Territory, Abuja.
The total number of recorded cases in the country since the
outbreak of the virus, has risen to 156,496.
The health agency made the announcement yesterday night
while giving a report on daily cases and deaths via its verified Twitter
handle.
According to the report, about 9 persons died in the last 24
hours due to complications from the dreaded virus.
