Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said
his team cannot make a late Premier League title push, because Manchester City
“are too far ahead”.
United climbed back up to second place with a 2-0 win over
City at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
However, Solskjaer’s men are still 11 points behind City
with just 10 fixtures left.
“We just take one game at a time. City are too far ahead for
us to think we can catch them. Last year, we caught 15 points up on Leicester
City, but City are a different proposition.
“Even today, they put us under so much pressure, you could
see we were playing against a very good team,” Solskjaer said.
United face AC Milan next in the Europa League on Thursday.
